RCC13 A Stitch in Time with Debbie Carriere

Gorgeous entries again last week! We'll announce the Top Spools on Friday. Till then, lets get to a brand new challenge!

It’s time to stitch up your creations for this week’s Ribbon Carousel Challenge (RCC13). Debbie Carriere, (our superstar crewmate who has made it into the Top 10 of this year's Gallery Idol!!!!) would like us to try some kind of stitching; either with our sewing machine, hand stitching, faux stitching, piercing, stamped stitches….whatever works for you! Remember your creation can be anything from cards, quilts, sewn items, paper crafts, paintings, anything will work!

*** Please remember that your creation must have ribbon, bakers twine, jute twine, lace, thread (basically anything that comes on a spool). ***

RCC12 Button It Up with Sparkle Smith

RCC10 Top Spools

WOW!!! The entries for RCC10 (Paper Piecing) were fantastic!!! It was hard for our team to pick our Top Spools. We loved checking out the amazing creations and we've chosen the following as our "Top Spools" for this week.

Torico created this amazing card with fantastic ribbon, great designer paper and that coloring- WOW!!

Tenia created an amazing card as well. I love the color combo and that elephant is oh so cute!!

Our third Top Spool this week is Brenda who stunned us with a "Dino-mite" card. I love her use of twine.

RCC11 Inspiration Challenge with Laurel

Hey everyone! Are you ready for another challenge? We are too, but first a little announcement....It is with great sadness that Dawn Easton is leaving the Crew. We are all so very sorry to see her go, and wish her tons of success and happiness! Who knows, maybe we can get her to come back and join us when things settle down.

Happily, I get to introduce you to our newest Crew member! Savannah O'Gwynn!!

My name is Savannah O'Gwynn {aka Sav}. I am fairly new to stamping/blogging--I started crafting at a young age, but I didn't buy my first stamps until August 2009. In June of 2009, I left my teaching profession to pursue my crafting passion and it was then that my life changed. I bought lots of stamps, ribbons, papers, and so much more--I started my blog (Dec. 2009) and began entering challenges. I found that I really love all sorts of crafts, and I enjoy working in my studio and being creative. My favorite embellie is ribbon--I am always looking for just the right ribbon for each project! I enjoy making almost any project, but I enjoy making cards the most.

RCC10 Paper Piecing with Jessie

Hey everyone! Thank you for the amazing creations last week! We're having a blast looking at all your talent! Now on to a new challenge!

This week, Jessie Knight Rone is challenging us to break out those scissors and glue at the Ribbon Carousel Challenge ( RCC10). Jessie wants us to do a little Paper-Piecing somewhere on our creations! From little dresses to trees or fairy wings, paper-piecing can add lots of pizzazz to a project.
