Hey everyone! With the holidays upon us, Lindsay is challenging us to make a creation celebrating a holiday! Any holiday will do, Hanukkah, Christmas, Thanksgiving, or even New Year’s if you’re that far ahead!
Our sponsor this week is the fabulous Jenny of, you guessed it, Jenny Suchin Designs!
Here's a little about Jenny:
Hi all! I'm Jenny Suchin, 36, I'm a mom to one beautiful girl and just married the most amazing man in October of 2010. We live in the Golden State, California. I'm from Virginia, I sure do miss home. I love my day job, it’s the best, but by night I'm a papercrafting night owl and graphic designer. I love all things fun and exciting and I love the outdoors, especially the beach! I love to create with PAPER! My favorite craft is paper piecing, it’s my specialty lol. And I would say my style is cute and fun with a little vintage throw in sometimes. I mostly design cards but occasionally I love to scrapbook and make altered items for my home. You will see from a lot of my creations, I love PINK and Clouds! My inspiration for my art is my little girl, she loves to do crafts with mom. I even set up a little desk for her in my studio. It just tickles me pink that she loves it as much as I do. Gotta cherish that mommy/daughter time! I also just remodeled my studio, so my husband can't drag me out of it now. I love my new room. Thank you to Ribbon Carousel for having me! :)
Jenny will be sending one fabulous randomly selected participant her Owl See You In Class stamp set!
Remember: Your creation can be anything from cards, quilts, sewn items, paper crafts, paintings! *** Be sure to have ribbon, bakers twine, jute twine, lace, thread (basically anything that comes on a spool). ***
Looking for some Inspiration? Here are this week's creations from the Crew:
(you can see Andrea's tutorial of this gorgeous technique on the Ribbon Carousel Blog)
We'd love for you to join us this week! Here are the details:
- Make your NEW creation following the ribbon carousel challenge of the week. Any submissions made prior to the challenge date will be deleted. Be sure to include some type of ribbon, twine, hemp, lace....basically, anything that comes on a spool.
- Load your creation up onto your blog or a public viewing forum like Splitcoast Stampers, (use the keyword RCC30) with a direct link back to THIS post. Including the challenge graphic isn't a requirement, but sure is appreciated! (A participant of our very first challenge didn't link back or mention our challenge and couldn't be named Top Spool, so don't let that happen to you!)
- Link up your creation using the Inlinkz button at the bottom of this post. Your image may take a little while to pop up, but don't worry, it will appear shortly.
- Come back the Friday after the challenge ends to see if YOU are a Top Spool!
