RCC28 Pillow Talk with Andrea!

Hey everyone! You were all pretty busy this week making gorgeous creations! We are still pouring through them and will get to the winners this Friday! This week, we introduce the rest of the New Carousel Crew! These ladies are amazingly talented! Be sure to stop by their blogs and leave a big WELCOME.

Now, lets get on to the new challenge, RCC28! This week, the amazingly talented new Crewmate, Andrea Ewen, is challenging us to use this photo of gorgeous pillows as inspiration for a new creation!

Our sponsor this week is the fabulous Your Next Stamp!
And the prize is this adorable Ellie Loves To Bake Cling Stamp Set, just in time for the holidays!

Your creation can be anything from cards, quilts, sewn items, paper crafts, paintings! *** Be sure to have ribbon, bakers twine, jute twine, lace, thread (basically anything that comes on a spool). ***

Need some inspiration? Here are some gorgeous creations by our fabulous Crew:

Brand new to the Carousel Crew is Lindsay Amrhein. I love Lindsay's Clean and Graphic style! Every time I see one of her gorgeous creations I smile!

Next up is the amazingly talented, Andrea Ewen.  I am always in awe of Andrea's staging and layers upon layers of beautiful ribbons, trims, flowers, embellies and sentiments.

Kim O'Connell was a fan favorite here at RCC and moved from weekly participant to Guest Designer to Full time Matey!  Kim has a gorgeous style and always knows how to make us laugh!

Another new face here at the Ribbon Carousel Challenge is Wendy Ramlakhan.
I love Wendy's style with texture and depth. Her fabulous coloring skills make her artwork just fantastic!

Jessie Rone is one of my all time favorite peoples! I just love how spunky and spicy and fun she makes life for all of us on the Crew.  We are lucky to have Jessie joining the crew again, and are beyond excited to see all of her fabulous artwork again this term!

Danielle Lounds  is returning again this term as well.  Danielle is one of the most talented and FASTest crafters this side of the Mississippi! , Be sure to stop by Pickle's blog (She eats her chili with pickles, hence, the nickname) and say Hello!

And last, but CERTAINLY NOT least, Savannah O'Gwynn returns to another term with her EXTREME talent and wit!  "Sav" as she's know 'round these parts, is a beautiful person with a fun style that she brings to the challenges each week.

We'd love for you to join us this week! Here are the details:
  • Make your NEW creation following the ribbon carousel challenge of the week. Any submissions made prior to the challenge date will be deleted. Be sure to include some type of ribbon, twine, hemp, lace....basically, anything that comes on a spool.
  • Load your creation up onto your blog or a public viewing forum like Splitcoast Stampers, (use the keyword RCC28) with a direct link back to THIS post. Including the challenge graphic isn't a requirement, but sure is appreciated! (A participant of our very first challenge didn't link back or mention our challenge and couldn't be named Top Spool, so don't let that happen to you!)
  • Link up your creation using the Inlinkz button at the bottom of this post. Your image may take a little while to pop up, but don't worry, it will appear shortly.
  • Be sure to come back the Friday after the challenge ends to see if YOU are a Top Spool! :D
